FS: Pullip Stock + Misc. updated 11/9
dollmuse

Turns out my little one needs to get some dental work done, *facepalm* and it's going to cost and arm and a leg just for the first phase.  Ugh. So I'm going to be selling some stuff to help pay off the loan we have to take out. Sigh.

Paypal accepted, will ship anywhere.

Pullip Scalps, custom handmade

AS IS. A couple of my pullips don't have their scalps anymore, I received them this way, so I have made some custom handmade scalps.  They're flexible and not hard like plastic, they're more like rubber/silicone.  Note, these are still in prototype phase, so are NOT perfect.  The tops are not perfectly smooth because I'm shaping it with my own hands, but I think they're functional and serve their purpose.

This is for a pack of two scalps (the yellow removable portion as seen in the photo), pullip head/faceplates are NOT included. They are a buttercup yellow in color, but a wig covers it up nicely.  If your pullip is missing a scalp, you know how weird it looks when you try to put a wig on, so this helps a good deal.

I've tried it on pullips type 1 and 3 (I don't have a type 2 currently, so not sure, but I'm assuming it can as long as it has a removable scalp). Type 4s don't have removeable scalps, so it won't go on them.  A needle can pass through it like butter, however, I have yet to try to root it, so I'm not sure how that would go, but try it, it is a prototype afterall!

Pack of 2 for $10 (firm) + shipping from the US ($3 in the US and inquire for all other locations). I still have a couple sets left.

Knitting for Dolls
dollmuse

Knitting for dolls is very interesting.  I love how it turns out when it's finished, but still am uncertain whether I like working on such a small scale.  I guess it's not too bad considering that I finished three pieces so far and have an itch to do more.  The lace is not as bad as say if you were to do a full-sized shawl or wrap, but it does still take hours to complete because a) you're using small needles (size 0s, though I do believe I have some smaller than that somewhere), and b) your using thread (though in these cases crochet thread) eek!

So here are my first lace shawls/wraps for pullips, blythes, bjds, etc.:

As it was blocking:

I'm working on a third.  I think the one following that one will be longer and skinnier than the top one above.

Fare thee well, Glimmer!
dollmuse

The first blythe that I owned/adopted, Glimmer (Takara Neo, "Cousin Olivia", SBL), was adopted out.  I was sad to see her go, but I knew she needed more attention than I was giving her and she was feeling antsy, needing a change in scenery.  So off she went to PA to live with Jaime.  I hope she will be happy in her new home.  My fairwell photo of Glimmer:

She's wearing an outfit that I threw together in a few minutes, literally, using that good ol' fantastic stuff called liquid stitch!

So bye bye my glimmer girl!

--

On another note Fringe (Withered-custom) is doing well.  I've made her some new lace under garments, and a new dress.  Working on accessories now and have ordered some base shoes (I hope they fit her huge type 1 feet!!!).  Still looking for new springs for her eye mech *crossing fingers*.  I will also need to do something about her neck that was previously apoxied, reapoxy it and hopefullly see if I can find a flesh color that will be close enough to her faceplace tone.  Accessories she has now, not shown, are a frilly collar, vintage butterfly with some fringe eyelash yarn attached, and a bouquet of black roses.  DH thinks she looks like Corpse Bride, LOL.

--

And lastly, I've started working on my next project.  I've gotten Briar (Wind) face sanded down, with exception to some coloring in her eyelid creases and in her mouth, but I'll leave it as is and go over those with my medium, and I removed her nose decal.  I haven't taken an updated photo yet, but above is Briar (Wind), dismantled.  She is the one that I got w/out an eye mech.  I used her eyelids in Fringe (Withered-custom), so will likely end up using Fringe's (Withered-custom's) in her faceplate.  I have an idea of what I want to transform her into and I'm really excited and hoping that I can pull it off.  FYI, I'm dropping the name Briar now, so from now on she'll just be "Wind-custom" until I re-rename her.

Pullip (Withered) formerly known as Fifoldara
dollmuse

Fringe

She decided that she didn't like the name Fifoldara so she's going by Fringe now.

New wig, love how it looks on her, but it's a PITA to put on her, the person who made it really didn't make it to form, so there's a poof in the back if you touch it, though not noticable by looking at it or if you're not aware of that fact unless you need to remove the wig and put it back on.  New customizations done: eyelashes, custom painted eye chips, eye lids (figured out what may be causing the eyelid closing issue, need a new spring for one of them), gloss lips.

So now, need to make her some clothing, accessories, and ear studs (and find an eyelash crimper).

More photos of Fringe can be found here.

--

On another note, the eye mechs for blythe came today from Germany! It took a whopping 6 days to get here, which is like light speed for international shipping! WOOT!  So after I finish up the cutomizations of Fringe and do one more pullip, I can switch to some blythes.

I have ideas for some dramatic customizations, but will keep it on the low down for now.

Moving along...
dollmuse

Decided to re-remove eye mech, lol, I couldn't get the eyelids to color properly that way, so will do them separately.

No where near being done, need to smooth out a lot of areas and not happy with the lips.  But it's progress!

The creases from the previous sanding job are starting to become an issue as the pastels aren't feathering properly, but I don't want to start over, so will see how it goes.

[Edited to add at 7:42]

I think I'm pretty much done with the faceplate, except for minor touch ups later when I put in her eye mech.  The eyes and lips have a slight shimmer.

Need to find the perfect eyes and wig for her, as well as give her a name.

She's on her original type one body.

Pullip bait beginning transformation.
dollmuse

I took my pullip Withered bait:

And a magic eraser and cleaned and scrubbed off most of the faceup that was started by the previous owner.  This is what she looks like now (though it's not as pink as above and not as white as below):

I've sprayed it with MSC to prep for the new faceup.  As you may be able to see, not sure if it's visible in the photo, there's still a tiny bit of color left in the lips and in the small scratches around her eyes.  The eyelids, not photographed, were a bit harder and there's a lot more scratches on it from previous sanding, but I think it'll still work out.

I put the eye mech back in (less eye chips) so that I can do the eyelids at the same time as I do the eyes.  It seems one of the previous owners may have cut the eyelids at the bottom, as one is shorter than the other and uneven at the bottom.  One side also does not close without inside assistance, so I'll need to figure that out later, at the moment I have a rubberband holding it in place so that they're closed - or at least the most they'll close without showing a gap at the top corner. As you can see this photo shows more of her previous ownership sanding flaws, but it'll give her character (*crossing fingers*). The lids are a different tone from the faceplate, so I'm wondering if they belonged to a different head.

Once I get the eyes done, I'll remove the eye mech and put the eyelashes on (probably will need to figure out why one lid won't close without manual assistance first though).

So tomorrow, hopefully, after my doctor's appointment (dredded blood pressure consult), I'll begin her faceup journey.  I have a direction I want to go in for her, she's beaming "goth" to me, so that's the route I'm going to take.

She'll be my first custom doll of this kind.

A-Scalping we will go...
dollmuse

Ok, so a couple of my pullips don't have their scalps anymore, I got them this way, so I have made some makeshift scalps using a modelling medium.  They're flexible and more importantly I can puncture it with a needle in order to root it.  I'm going to try to spray paint them a flesh color since the medium is yellow.  Will let you know how that turns out as soon as I can find some fleshtone spray paint that  will work on plastics or similar material.

Here's some shots of the ones I have made.  Granted the tops are a little rough because I'm shaping it with my own hands, but I think they're functional and serve their purpose.  I plan on trying this method out on blythes too to see if I can make custom scalps for them as well.

Roma Outfit

Model: Feylen, Pullip "ALa"

Meet the Pullips...
dollmuse

Pullips have become an obsession for me!  I heart them so much!  Anyway, my plan is to obtain some of the earlier ones and collect from there.

Feylen

Name: Feylen
Type: Jun Planning Pullip "ALa", released in April 2008
Body: Type 4
Mods: None.

Notes: She is my 1st Pullip, I got her NRFB, but I discarded the box before knowing any better! :( She's all stock, still has all of her original stock items (less the box). Not sure if I'll customize her yet, since she was my premier pullip, I may want to just keep her as she is.

More images of Feylen can be found here.

 Penelope

Name: Penelope
Type: Jun Planning Pullip "Rozen Maiden Barasuishou", released July 2007
Body: Type 3
Prior Ownership Mods: Rhinestone nose decal, small scratch above her lip, scratches on the eye chip, custom eyelashes and painted lips. Original hair removed, misc wig.  Stains on her hands, arms, and feet.

Notes: She's not quite sure yet what she wants to be, she's very pensive and a deep thinker, that's for sure.  So she may be the studious type with a secret identity.

More images of Penelope can be found here.

Briar

Name: Briar
Type: Debut Jun Planning Pullip (1st Pullip released) "Wind", released July 2003
Body: Type 1
Prior Ownership Mods: She was a custom and rescue doll.  Her face has noticable staining and scratches when looking at her in person. Her lips are painted a coral with acrylic paint.  A rhinestone decal nose stud has been added to her nose. Her eyes have been replaced with acrylics, her entire eye mechanism has possibly been removed as her eyes are unable to move from side to side or blink.  The eyes have been puttied in, so they keep falling into her head. She has had light green pastel shadow applied above her eyes and painted eyelashes added on the sides of her eyes - though some of this has worn off so she is in need of a new faceup. She has her original type one body so her bust is larger then other pullips, and her joints are really loose so it's a little difficult to pose her. The only stock items she came with were her head, body, backpack and I think shoes.

Notes: She is one of my favs.  Flirty cheerleader/all-american school girl type - the type of girl who all other girls evied, yet she was likeable and really geniunely sweet, and who all the guys wanted to date.  I will hopefully be customizing her more, and am in the process of getting another one.

More images of Briar can be found here.

Fifoldara

Name: Fifoldara (Anglo-Saxon for Butterfly)
Type: Jun Planning Pullip "Withered", released January 2004
Body: Type 1
Prior Ownership Mods: She used to be a Withered, but nothing is stock anymore - her face has been sanded so fine that the lines above her eyes are now gone - her faceup has been done by previous owner with acrylic paint along with her eyelids.  She has a few scratches on her face next to her eyes, no scalp.  Previous owner pierced her ears using the hot needle method and head was carved to fit a type 3, but it was fixed by using apoxie so that it would fit her original type 1.

Mods:  Currently customizing her.  I cleaned and magic erased her face, all new faceup, a bit of sparkle in the eyeshadow, and adorned tatoos on her face, neck and chest.  She has her eye mech back in, but I plan on switching out her eyelids with wind's.  The eye mech is still kooky, so I'm debating whether or not to make it fixed so that the lids goes up to a certain point rather than all the way open.  Debating eye chips. WIll also put some kind of earrings in the holes in her ears.

More images can be found here.

Chalice

Name:
Chalice
Type: Jun Planning Pullip "Zuora", released November 2006
Body: Type 3
Prior Ownership Mods: Head/body is stock, but eyechips replace. Her wig is not glued on, it is held in place by velcro. Original box, but w/out other stock items like clothing.

Notes: None ATM.

Nina

Name: Nina
Type: Jun Planning Pullip "Bouquet", released October 2003
Body: Type 1
Prior Ownership Mods: She has a Wind scalp with the hair removed. The scalp has some writing on the back.. She has a small dent on the side of her nose, but this is a flaw in the mold of all Type 1 Pullips.
She has a factory flaw on her arm and very minor yellowing around her lips and nose due to age.

Notes: I will likely switch the scalps back.

--

Sissanne

Name: Sissanne
Type: Debut Jun Planning Pullip (1st Pullip released) "Wind", released July 2003
Body: Type 1
Prior Ownership Mods: She has a Bouquet scalp with the hair removed. She has a small dent on the side of her nose, but this is a flaw in the mold of all Type 1 Pullips. She has a factory flaw on her arm and very minor yellowing around her lips and nose due to age.

Mods: Switched the scalps back. Not sure if I will modify this Wind. I think I will leave her the way she is.

the Blythes!
dollmuse

I heart Blythes too, not as much as Pullips though.

Name: None yet
Type: ADG, possible Aztec Arrival or Pinafore Purple from looking at the faceup and leftover hair on scalp, body is 2-toned so it may be pieced together - top is takara, bottom likely ADG.
Prior Ownership mods: When the previous owner purchased this doll originally she was a custom doll that was in rough shape. She had a voice box from a vintage doll glued inside of her head. The voice box was removed, but there is still glue left where the box was held. There are little holes drilled in the back of her head so that the words she spoke could be heard clearly. A groove was made where the pullstring was ran though the bottom of her face plate. Her head can be spun around because the bottom of her back face plate where the neck is held in place has been broken off. The back of the body has a melt spot along her waist. Most of her makeup was sanded off, but she still needs more work. The damage on her scalp was also left over from when she was originally customized. She had acrylic eyes glued into her eye sockets. The eye mech is from another doll, but is broken, so I'm looking for another one or parts to fix it.

Notes: Adopted rescued custom blythe.

More images can be found here.

--

Name: None yet, bait head plates only.
Type: Neo Blythe, Hello Harvest - HH - RBL (just the faceplate)
Prior Ownership Mods: Just the front and back face plate.  Will need to recreate the dome and put her in a body.  maybe I can find a eye mech for her.  There are some scratches on her cheeks.
Notes: Another rescued blythe.

--

LL

Name: None yet. LL for now.
Type: ADG, Lounging Lovely - LL - SBL (just the faceplate)
Prior Ownership Mods: No pullstring, all eyechips were changed, except the green. The side facing blue chips were rimmed in black and put back in. The front facing chips are a purple-blue (brainworm) and dark brown (orange chips were painted to achieve this) - some are scratched, or have minor chips on the edge, and the purple ones seem slightly cloudy. Eye lids were shaded with chalk pastels in a light gray, but on the lids the color (never dark to start with) is scratched a bit just from where the lids open and close.  Face sand matted (is slightly scratchy) and cheeks shaded with pink chalk pastel "blush". Small scratch on one side of the face, nothing major. Original lip paint removed and plump new lips painted to look realistic and sealed with gloss. Hair was cut into an "Amelie" type of style. Shorter in the back with bangs and longer on the sides. BODY: Seem to be stains (likely from clothing) on the backs of arms and back of legs from knees down. Eyeholes were carved to look slightly Asian on the inside corners and a bit on the outside corners as well.

Notes: Another adopted blythe.

----------

Adopted Out

Glimmer

Name: Glimmer
Type: Neo Blythe Cousin Olivia - CO - SBL
Prior Ownership Mods: Original hair was cut off and a the wig (shown) put on loose over sheared scalp, original makeup replaced and matted, eyechips replaced with: Forward Facing - Charcoal Sparkley, Forward Facing - Orange/Pink Rainbow, Right Facing - Teal Blue, Left Facing - Stock Pink Foiled, and pullstring replaced.

Notes: Was my first blythe, adopted.

More images of Glimmer can be found here.

ETA:
She was adopted out on 09/28/09 to her new home with Jaime in PA.
